Jamf Pro 11.32 announces compatibility based on testing with Apple’s latest betas of macOS 27, iOS 27, iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, visionOS 27 and watchOS 27. It also makes several new Apple status items usable in inventory. For IT leaders, this is not yet a production green light: it is the starting point for structured qualification of the MDM service, devices and support processes.

1. What Jamf Pro 11.32 supports

Jamf says it has tested core management workflows with Apple’s latest betas: app distribution, configuration profiles, declarations, enrollment, inventory reporting, policies and Self Service installation. That coverage is useful when building a pilot plan, but the official wording matters: support is based on beta releases, not on validation of every business app or security extension in an organization.

The release also exposes inventory attributes from Apple’s new status items without relying on MDM queries that add latency and server load. Teams can use them as criteria in Smart Groups and advanced searches.

2. New signals to add to the Jamf operations dashboard

• Apple Enrollment Type distinguishes Device Enrollment, User Enrollment, supervision, no enrollment and an unknown state.
• Awaiting Configuration identifies a Mac or mobile device that is still waiting for configuration during setup.
• Return to Service reports whether the app-preservation workflow is being used on iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro.
• Device System Health reports the state of components such as the baseband, camera, display, Face ID, NFC, Touch ID and Ultra Wideband on iPhone and iPad; Jamf can flag a component error or, for the camera and display, a non-genuine component.
• Lockdown Mode makes the feature’s state visible on compatible supervised devices.

These fields do not replace hardware diagnostics or complete compliance evidence. They do provide signals that are closer to actual device state and can trigger a human review, a ticket or controlled automation.

3. What does this change for a Belgian or French organization?

For an SMB, Jamf Pro 11.32 makes it possible to prepare an OS 27 pilot with readable indicators instead of multiplying inventory scripts. For a mid-market company, large enterprise or public body in Belgium or France, the value lies in connecting the same signals to onboarding, support, security, repair and reassignment processes across sites.

IT teams must still preserve the distinction between “compatible in Jamf testing” and “validated for our environment.” Security agents, VPNs, network filters, system extensions, business apps, certificates, Wi-Fi and Apple Business Manager flows still need testing in the organization’s real context.

4. Underside analysis: validate the chain, not just the console

Our view is that Jamf Pro 11.32 usefully connects three layers that are often separated: MDM compatibility, state reported by Apple and the operational decision. An Awaiting Configuration field should lead to an enrollment runbook; degraded hardware status should feed support; Lockdown Mode should be interpreted according to the risk profile, without blind automatic remediation.

5. Recommended qualification plan

• Upgrade a test instance or pilot ring following Jamf’s procedure, with a documented backup and rollback plan.
• Test app distribution, profiles, declarations, enrollment, inventory, policies and Self Service separately on every platform actually in use.
• Create control Smart Groups for enrollment types, devices awaiting configuration, Return to Service, hardware health and Lockdown Mode.
• Assign every alert an owner, expected evidence and response time, in French and English where support operates across borders.
• Validate business apps, identity, SSO, networking, Wi-Fi, VPN and security before expanding OS 27 to the production fleet.
